Our mission:

       Founded in 1994 to promote the perpetual survival of the naturally occurring muskellunge population in the Niagara River and Lake Erie, the Niagara Musky Association Inc. is dedicated to the successful live release of all muskies.

          It is our mission to provide information about proper catch and release methods to insure that fish are stressed as little as possible.  We believe that a sustainable fishery will be made possible by attention to habitat preservation, observance of seasons and size limits, and continued education and training of anglers in the proper methods of catch and release.

          Because our fishery shares its populations with the province of Ontario, we will work in conjunction with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, the Hamilton Chapter of Muskies Canada Inc., the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and other agencies and clubs to make our region a fish and angler friendly resource into the future.
